We offer community participation programs, residential services, respite services, employment supports and services designed for children.

**OVERVIEW**

ROLE

The Supervisor, Children’s Inclusion Services, is responsible for the overall management, direction and coaching of a team of ten to fifteen staff members as they deliver on the service model. They will role-model Community Living Hamilton’s commitment to inclusion and our belief that effective service delivery must be client-focused, strength-based and designed to meet the goals of the individuals we serve. They will:

- Develop, maintain and promote a high level of quality service delivery.
- Lead and supervise program staff with regular on-site management.
- Ensure the program meets all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders that enhance the image and reputation of the organization, our services and our staff team.
- Schedule Resource Consultants and Inclusion Facilitators to best allocate staffing resources with the need of the individual licensed child care centers.
- Ensure the safety, security and wellness of children, co-workers, and visitors.
- Other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma in the human services field, with preference given to Early Childhood Education, (ECE), Family Studies, Child Studies, or equivalent
- Registered member in good standing of the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the role of the Resource Consultant an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management, supervisory or team leadership role is an asset.
- Experience in planning and coordinating child care services in complex situations and with children with special needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Satisfactory Police Record Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector is required
- Certified in First Aid and CPR
- A commitment to inclusion and empowerment for people with special needs
- French language fluency, or other languages including sign language is an asset
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment preferred.
