The job purpose of the Controller is to add value and improve KeyLeaf operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The Controller will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.

**Responsibilities**:
- Produce and prepare timely Financial reports- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status- Recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings- Provide technical support and advice on Management Accounting to ensure project profitability- Coordinate financial transactions with Accounting staff (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable)- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process- Lead the department’s goal setting process- Lead, Prepare and participate in the budgeting process according to schedule- Assist with tax audits and tax returns- Direct external audit to ensure compliance- Lead month-end and year-end close process- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls- Ensure compliance with current accounting principles and reporting standards- Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards

Experience- B. Com, major in Accounting and CPA designation preferred- Experience as a Senior Auditor, Accountant or equivalent management accounting experience- Knowledgeable using MS Office, accounting software and databases- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports- Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations- High degree of attention to detail and excellent analytical skills- Ability to lead and work within a cross functional team- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and negotiating skills- Demonstrated ability to problem solve under deadline pressures and competing priorities- Excellent working knowledge of regulatory requirements- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems-
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment with mínimal supervision
