Drywaller/taper

A fast-paced contracting company is seeking a full-time drywall installer and taper. We offer a company van and provide labor assistance as needed. Our team consists of about 14 skilled professionals who handle a variety of tasks, from painting to carpentry. With our range of services, there is always plenty of full-time work available.

**Summary**

As a Drywaller/Taper, you will be a vital part of the construction team, utilizing core skills in construction, carpentry, drywall, and caulking to ensure high-quality finishes on projects. Your premium skill in construction painting will be essential in adding the final touches to surfaces. With relevant skills in blueprint reading and handyman experience, you will be able to interpret project requirements accurately and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. **Responsibilities**
- Install and finish drywall for residential and commercial projects.
- Perform taping, mudding, and sanding to achieve smooth surfaces.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and seams.
- Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and finishing.
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing and structural support as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Strong background in construction and carpentry
- Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of construction painting methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Previous handyman experience is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
