**Position: Production Assistant**

**Department: Manufacturing**

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be integral in all the production processes at Raute Canada’s manufacturing facility in Delta, BC. You will be responsible primarily for supporting and assisting the Manufacturing Engineers.

**Responsibilities**
- Print travelers/work orders with drawings and BOM and arrange them properly,
- Track our stock and spares parts to make sure they are all on schedule,
- Review and process work packages from engineering, including drawings and bills of material,
- Administrative support for the department including creating and managing purchase orders, vendors, and subcontractors, as well as coordinating process audits to ensure changes have been adhered to,
- Drive good manufacturing practices through the development of initiatives to improve production processes,
- Active participation, contribution, and review of project production schedules and reporting,
- Liaise with and coordinate subcontractors, track performance, and issue purchase orders as required,
- Provide detailed work status reports (verbal and written) to the manufacturing group/project team,
- Continual update of technical knowledge through education workshops and reviewing technical publications.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
- Strong interpersonal qualities including leadership, teamwork, integrity and respect,
- Interested on learning more about manufacturing,
- Must be well organized and have a very high attention to detail,
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment, work well under pressure and identify workload priorities,
- Proficient in the use of Excel,
- Experience working with travelers/work orders and ERP systems,
- Experience reading drawings and BOM an asset.

**Attributes**
- Must be positive, proactive, strong team participant,
- Able to safely lift to 50lbs,
- Previous experience with an industrial background would be an asset,
- Must possess a valid passport and driver’s license,
- High-school diploma or equivalent.

**Salary**: $45,600.00-$50,400.00 per year
