**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to Research Manager, and under the supervision of the Research Data Analyst, the Research Data Entry Clerk supports the execution of research within the Division of Cardiology The Research Assistant contributes to the support, development and management of projects in Cardiology Research by providing general administrative support, including ethics submission and entering, maintaining and analyzing study data, organizing meetings, and assists with patient recruitment, communication and data collection. The Research Assistant works within a collaborative Research Team environment.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field required
- Completed post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field preferred
- Two years’ research related experience preferred
- TCPS2: CORE Certification considered an asset
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- Effective communication, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to draft, format and edit office correspondence
- Well developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Skills and experience in promoting learning cultures that nurture equity, diversity and inclusivity with a focus on intersectional values, analysis, and actions, clinical humility, and the responsible use of power and privilege.
- Previous experience in a health care/research setting is an asset

**Hours**:

- Full-Time, Long Assignment (75 hours bi-weekly)
- Two year assignment beginning as soon as possible
- This role requires you to be onsite and is based in Halifax, NS

**Compensation and Benefits**:
$22.34 - $27.92 Hourly

$43,564 - $54,455 Annually
