**Program Support Worker**
**6 month position
- 32 hours a week**

**$20.00 per hour**

- The Program Support Worker, is a valued member of OKC, ability to work in an office environment, and other programs as needed. Flexible to be able to work evenings and weekends doing fundraising events. _
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Assist with Fundraising Events
- available on Weekends and Evenings
- Assist with Community Outreach attending and participating in events
- Reply to general information requests with the accurate information
- Assist with grocery shopping with Nutrition Facilitator
- Sharing information and resources with families as needed
- Is flexible to assist at programs with childcare, assist with running community kitchens with adults and youth
- Work in the food cupboard to supply families with needed food. Collect stats as requested
- Keep office space neat and clean as well as staff room
- Open to new training opportunities
- Safe Food Handing, Bingo Training
- Ability to set up community events as needed
- **Qualifications**_
- Experience working with children & families
- Knowledge of the community of Thunder Bay
- Friendly
- Outgoing
- Flexible
- must be able to work a schedule that includes weekend and evenings
- Willingness to learn
- Available to help out in programs as requested
- Available to volunteer for fundraising opportunities
- Vehicle and valid drivers license
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check

Report to Program Manager

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
