POSITION FOR NIGHT SHIFT

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up, operate, repair & maintain circular knitting machines;
- Threads yarn through guides, tension springs, stop-motion devices, and yarn carrier, needles, using hook or other tools;
- Observes knitting to detect yarn breaks, used up yarn packages, and knitting defects;
- Correct knitting defects and perform quality checks as per error indicated;
- Ties broken yarn ends, replaces used yarn packages;
- Clean, oil, lubricate machines as appropriate;
- Quality assurance checks;
- Changing needles, sinkers, pins and bobbins.
- Moving yarn from department to department
- Using pallet jack to move yarn
- Maintaining clean organized workspace

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous manufacturing experience an asset;
- Basic Computer literacy and willingness to learn;
- Team player and reliable;
- Ability to perform moderate lifting;
- Great work ethic, attitude, and attendance
- Good eye for detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to produce quality products
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good listener, Quick learner, Positive outlook.

- Responsabilités
- Installer, faire fonctionner, réparer et entretenir des machines à tricoter circulaires ;
- Enfile le fil à travers les guides, les ressorts de tension, les dispositifs d'arrêt et le porte-fil, les aiguilles, à l'aide d'un crochet ou d'autres outils ;
- Observe le tricot pour détecter les ruptures de fil, les paquets de fil épuisés et les défauts de tricotage ;
- Corriger les défauts de tricot et effectuer des contrôles de qualité selon l'erreur indiquée ;
- Attache les bouts de fils cassés, remplace les paquets de fils usagés ;
- Nettoyer, huiler, lubrifier les machines selon les besoins ;
- Contrôles d'assurance qualité ;
- Changement d'aiguilles, plombs, épingles et bobines.
- Déplacer le fil d'un rayon à l'autre
- Utiliser un transpalette pour déplacer le fil
- Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organisé

Compétences et qualifications requises:

- Expérience antérieure en fabrication un atout ;
- Connaissances informatiques de base et volonté d'apprendre ;
- Joueur d'équipe et fiable;
- Capacité à effectuer des levages modérés ;
- Excellente éthique de travail, attitude et assiduité
- Bon sens du détail et dextérité manuelle.
- Capacité à produire des produits de qualité
- Bonnes compétences en communication écrite et orale
- Bonne écoute, Apprentissage rapide, Perspectives positives.
- Capacité à travailler en quarts rotatifs.
- Bonnes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches dans un environnement en évolution rapide.
- Travaille bien sous pression.
