Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Issue certificates of insurance & auto ID cards
- Process endorsement requests
- Assist in creating proposals and presentations
- Prepare and monitor invoices
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients and their underwriters to insure a high level of customer service
- Order loss runs
- Request Premium Finance Quotes from the Accounting Team
- Checking proposal forms
- Checking and delivering policies
- Keeping insurance filing and database system up to date (Applied Epic)
- Conducts research; compiles information for Account Managers and Account Executives
- Maintain insurance CE requirements
- Participate in off-site carrier and client meeting as required.
- Participation in local insurance associations encouraged
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
Education & Licensing Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- RIBO or Home Province Insurance brokers license a plus, will be expected to earn license within first 12 months of employment
