Red Deer, Canada Adams Steel Fabricators Ltd. Full time

Our company is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the position of General Labourer. As a General Labourer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to work on a variety of different tasks and machines to create high-quality products and results.

**Responsibilities**
- Cross train on different roles within the shop and perform various tasks as needed
- Drive the forklift to assist with deliveries, shipments and customer pick-ups
- Packing orders for delivery
- Ability or willingness to learn to Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to execute projects with our Laser, Waterjet, and Plasma Tables
- Ability or willingness to learn how to use our press brake to form to customer specifications
- Ability or willingness to visualize the required tooling based on parts review alone
- Conduct inspections of products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

**Assets**
- Previous experience working in the welding trade, manufacturing and/or operating CNC equipment industry is preferred

**Requirements**:

- Able to drive a forklift
- Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Reliability, Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and understand instructions, and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality results
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
