Position Overview
This position creates and uploads eLearning modules and training content to the City’s learning management system, Workday. The role also supports consistency and compliance of training required for all RCC staff and coordinates the annual review cycle for training and job procedure development. From time to time, this role supports training gap analysis to identify missing or incomplete training content and works with people leaders to address training needs. This role Provides system support for Workday training and learning modules and offers insights on the Department Workplan, Change Management, and other Department wide initiatives.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the development, implementation, facilitation, and evaluation of a training program geared towards full and part-time staff. Coordinate documentation and reporting requirements.- Supports people leaders to ensure programs meet with accredited standards and that the department is meeting legislated standards and that job procedures are up to date.- Identify program areas that would benefit from additional training initiatives and/or address competency gaps.-
- Deliver training as needed, including coordination of semi-annual training for all part time staff in RCC.- Develop and monitor the department’s on-boarding, orientation, and off-boarding plans. Support and coach people leaders on the delivery of the plans.- Work with Human Resources to maximize the efficiency of existing systems for providing and tracking training. This includes interactive e-learning software.- Participate in the corporate training round table to support effective governance and administration of workday administration and training processes.
