Senate Tavern is a well-established restaurant with three vibrant locations across Ottawa, Ontario. Known for our inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, and gastro pub menu as well as an assortment of smoked BBQ.

We are dedicated to providing a memorable dining experience for our patrons whether taking in a game or gathering with friends for drinks. We take pride in our diverse team and are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet Senate Tavern's high standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Work efficiently during busy periods and maintain composure under pressure

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary degree is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent communication skills
