**About Our Client**
Our Client is a Hamilton, ON-based company in the business of manufacturing water filtration membranes. We are currently looking for a production supervisor
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Run the day-to-day activities on the manufacturing floor for safe and smooth flow in line with production schedule
- Assign work to production team leads and machine operators
- Monitor and track employees attendance and punctuality
- Monitor usage of materials and scrap to ensure there is no excessive waste
- Provide Training and written instructions to employees
- Provide coaching and positive feedback to employees
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management planning and organization skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
**Experience and Educational Background**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in business admin/management
- Background working with mechanical equipment in a hands-on role
- 3+years manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in 5S or lean manufacturing
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
