Requisition ID: 157428 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Position: Vice President, Omni-Channel Growth and Distribution, Insurance Canada** - Provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight for insurance distribution and product development in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **Accountabilities** - Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Responsible for growing the Insurance franchise including acquisition/retention planning, monitoring execution of sales against KPIs across all channels; ensuring profitable product/service mix; guiding all sales planning processes. - Defines field coaching engagement plan for Regional Insurance Managers and works with all channel partners on delivery across the retail network. - Full omni-channel scope provides business support for branch channel, indirect mortgage sales channels, contact centre/tele-sales, digital sales etc. - Manages consolidated dashboard of distribution and sales practice KPIs. - Accountable for ensuring distribution meets sales practices/regulatory and market conduct guidelines. - Ensuring the right balance of sales performance and prudent practices and oversight - Directs day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams. - Creates an environment in which they pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. - Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team. - Complement of 37 employees - 4 Directors and 33 managers across a diverse spectrum of mandates, skills and competencies in 4 key teams: Omni Channel Distribution Management, Sales Enablement, Growth Strategy, and Customer Value Proposition (CVP) - Distribution through a diverse array of internal and external product distribution channels consisting of Retail Branch Network, Customer Contact Centres, Indirect Mortgage Specialists and Broker/Brokerages, Digital Channels, Direct Marketing, and Telemarketing. Accountability for all sales-related activities across these major distinct channels **Education / Experience** - Post-secondary education in business and or related field - Minimum 10-15 years of industry experience with 3 years of senior management experience, preferably in Bank-distributed insurance with exposure/experience with digital sales. - Proven ability to lead, coach & develop large teams (30+ people) with a wide diversity of levels and job functions - Excellent strategic partnership and influencing skills along with proven ability to establish detailed planning, execution, metric development, monitoring and adjustment with partners - Strong sales management, and execution skills. - Proven relationship management skills with demonstrated seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders - Results oriented individual with strong project management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication (verbal and written) skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
