**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Registered with the College of Psychotherapist in good standing
- Current CPR-HCP is required
- Completion of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training preferred
- Certification or current enrollment in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) preferred
- Certification and competency in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery
- Experience working with Public Safety Personnel is preferred
- 3-5 years psychiatric experience in a mental health facility or service preferred
- Application of and experience with evidence-based manualized treatment modalities, specifically CBT, CPT and IPT
- Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory College standards of practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health, and relevant policies and legislation, such as the Mental Health Act and PHIPA is required
- Knowledge and experience of the challenges involved in community reintegration of short and longer stay psychiatric inpatients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated competence in individual and group therapy and crisis intervention skills
- Knowledge of psychotherapy in a clinic format is essential
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and effective oral/written communication skills
- The ability to work with clients of diverse ethno racial and cultural backgrounds and proficiency in a second language would be considered an asset
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the position
- Variable locations and hours may be required due to patient demand
