**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
- Experience in commercial driving, with a strong understanding of freight transportation processes.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting of minor issues on the road.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining delivery logs and vehicle inspections.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, dispatchers, and customers.
