Working directly with the Service Manager and Director, the Shop Foreman will be responsible for managing the shop, including workmanship quality, efficiency, and staffing, whilst also assisting with inspecting vehicles, completing complex diagnosis, and completing complex repairs where necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the shop operations;
- Mentoring and inspecting the work of apprentices;
- Overseeing the work of less experienced technicians;
- Ensuring proper testing and diagnoses of vehicles in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy;
- Setting the bar on inspections and diagnosis, and managing consistency between team members;
- Ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed with little to no comebacks;
- Ensuring customer vehicles are treated with utmost care and left with no trace of the work done;
- Inspecting vehicles;
- Diagnosing vehicles;
- Repairing vehicles;
- Documenting findings with pictures and comments, and providing recommendations; and
- Taking pride in the workplace by keeping the shop clean and organized

**Qualifications**
- Red seal certified
- Minimum ten years of experience in an auto repair centre
- Comfortable managing a team of technicians, and working closely with the advising staff.
- Highly efficient with great attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using technology to take photos, write comments and document the whole process for each and every customer
- Ability to take responsibility and communicate clearly
- Valid drivers license and a clean & current driver's abstract
- Out of Province/ CVIP certification (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
