Delta CleanTech Inc. (Delta) is looking to hire a full-time qualified **Plant Contact Specialist** to work with its engineering team in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The **Plant Contact Specialist** will be primarily responsible for managing the current and future CO2 capture and solvent purification projects of Delta from initiation to close. The **Plant Contact Specialist** participates in a variety of engineering studies and projects working primarily to find innovative solutions to improve process design, recommend modifications, and perform evaluation and troubleshooting of CO2 Capture and Solvent Purification projects. Additional work may include engineering analysis, design and control of team and individual projects. The **Plant Contact Specialist **will report directly to the Process Engineering Manager.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, chemical, industrial, environmental, or process engineering.
- A combination of relevant operations experience and knowledge will be considered.
- A minimum of two (2) years or more of work experience in a plant operations role in oil & gas, chemical or utility sector. Operations experience in a carbon capture facility would be an added benefit.
- Team player with effective interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with clients and co-workers.
- Open minded, with a willingness to learn and experiment to solve problems.

Proven proficiency with analytic, such as process plant data trending or data analysis tools and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel within Canada Job Sites for an extended period of time (2 - 4 weeks per trip).

Preference for:

- For Engineers: Registered, or immediately eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and/or other associations (APEGA, EGBC, PEO..etc).
- Licensed 4th Class Power Engineer, or higher, in the province of Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, or British Columbia is beneficial.
- Experience in gas processing and CO2 capture processing facilities is an asset.

Experience in a field service environment is an asset.
- Experience in fabrication and manufacturing (EPC/EPCM) in the oil and gas/power/petrochemical/food/pulp industry is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in process simulation programs such as AspenHysys, Aspen Plus, ChemCad, ProMax...etc.
- Awareness of the processing codes and standards in the oil and gas industry such as ASME, CSA, API, ANSI &/or ASTM.
- Fluency in a second language (Preferred French).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
In coordination with the Senior Project Management Team, you will be required to perform the following project management duties and tasks: Monitor and inspect plant equipment to ensure operation of equipment at maximum efficiency.
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix problems to properly communicate to the main technical office.
Assist in P&ID walk-through efforts or field verification.
Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
Ability to assist in the development of operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Ability to assist in plant troubleshooting and general maintenance.
Obtain and record samples, as required, utilizing proper sampling techniques.
Look for opportunities to optimize operations and implement them accordingly.
Provide operation support for assessment of management of change, including hazard assessment and risk analysis.
Develop and maintain internal and external client and stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
Other duties as assigned.

**Where you’ll be working,**
- You will work out of our office in **Regina, Saskatchewan **& remotely in field locations as required in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, and British Columbia.
