**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our team. This role involves managing bookkeeping, preparing tax returns, and providing comprehensive support to the partner on a wide range of tax matters. The Tax Associate will collaborate closely with internal staff and clients to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, along with other required government filings
- Prepare working paper files for compilation engagements, including adjusting entries and reconciliations
- Communicate effectively with clients to request supporting documents and resolve outstanding matters
- Prepare correspondence with the Canada Revenue Agency regarding personal and corporate tax matters

**Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years of experience working in a public accounting environment
- Skilled in CaseWare, Profile, QuickBooks, or comparable accounting/tax software
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with clients and colleagues
- Capable of managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field
- Bilingual: English and Mandarin

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
