Come join our team and have the opportunity to work at **Monarch Burger, Taco Kat, and Slim's BBQ** Keeping Mount Pleasant welcoming and a little weird, we're looking for an experienced full time Line Cook/Counter Server.

**Monarch Burger**:

- The King is back_ - in a proper restaurant space

After 5 years of Exile, Monarch Burger has finally found a home on Main Street bringing the legendary Dirty Burger back into the hands of Vancouver.

**The Position**:
Looking for a full-time Line Cook/Counter Server to work mainly at Monarch Burger and Taco Kat. (Our team members all have a 'home store' but they are trained to work everywhere so that everyone gets a chance to take time off when they need)

You are someone who:

- Has the experience & confidence to handle working alone
- Has at _least_ 1 year of cooking experience
- Understands hospitality
- Can handle taking orders, handling cash/payments, and interacting with guests
- Has good communication skills
- Is proud to be a little different
- Is a problem solver

Responsibilities Include:

- Prepping and Preparing Food
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and counter area
- Receiving orders
- Interacting with guests in the open kitchen area
- Proving support to the Front of House in Uncle Abe's
- Closing

- Must be available Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday
- Must have FoodSafe Certification
- Must have or be willing to get Serving It Right
- Must have open availability
- Must be able to work until 2am on weekends
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
- We are not providing sponsorships or LMIAs at this time
