Pembroke, Canada Eastway Contracting Inc. Full time

As an Equipment Operator at Eastway Contracting Inc. you will work as part of a crew with an experienced Foreman who will provide you with information necessary to proceed through various construction projects in a safe manor.

While working at Eastway you will encounter the following types of projects, Municipal Infrastructure (ie. water, sewer, storm, roads and walkways etc.),

Siteworks Packages (ie. construction of anew recreation centre, mall, town hall, fire hall, etc.), and

Residential Developments (ie. sub-division construction).

Transportation from our office to your job site can be arranged and parking is available at our office. Regular working hours are from 7:00am to 5:30pm with 2 x 15 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and one 30 minute lunch at noon each day.

You will receive all the necessary training to be safe on a construction site. The training is as follows, please note if you have any of the following:

- Working at Heights
- WHMIS 2015
- 4-Step MOL: The 4 Step MOL courses can be completed online.

Some of the skills that will be evaluating to determine pay scale are the following:

- Experience level with Water and Sewer
- Mechanically Inclined
- Good Maintenance Practices
