We are recruiting for a _**Harvesting Labourer**_ _**Lead Hand **_for our afternoon shift. The Lead Hand will manage a harvesting line, ensuring efficiency, quality and food safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the supervisor in training new production team members.
- Provide day to day tasks and coaching to team members
- Assign and move team members to different harvesting areas, as required.
- Complete paperwork for quality and production controls.
- Communicate and coordinate with other Lead Hands for scheduling and production requirements.
- Follow PPE requirements.
- Maintain and follow quality, food safety, and health and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement process.
- Other duties, as directed by management.
- Perform tasks such as hand harvesting, picking, sorting, packaging mushrooms
- Loading/unloading farm produce and supplies for transport
- Cleaning and preparing mushroom beds and working areas
- Sanitizing picking tools and working areas

**Requirements and Physical Capabilities**:

- Strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Good English written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in a team setting and also with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work the weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to handle physically demanding work.
- Ability to bend, stand and lift for long extended periods
- Ability to work in various environments: cold refrigerated, dusty, strong odours
- Ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
- Ability to work at a high level height

**Qualifications**:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- High school diploma, post-secondary education, as asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food harvesting setting.
- Previous lead hand experience, preferred.

**Transportation**:
