**Job Summary**

Bremic Carriers Inc. is an asset-based trucking company located in SE Calgary.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Controller to join our team.

This position would be best suited for someone seeking a career opportunity in business management. Training will be gradual in nature and will comprise of every aspect of the accounting department. There are currently 2 direct reports to further develop leadership skills.

**REQUIREMENT**

**Duties**
- A/R and A/P Accountability
- Payroll Management
- Balance Sheet Management
- Fixed Asset Management
- Cash Management
- Regulatory Remittances and Renewals
- Job Costing and Financial Analysis

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR
- Minimum 3 Years in Full Cycle Accounting
- Intermediate Knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, macros, forms, etc..)
- Intermediate Knowledge of Office 365
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders within the organization

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
