**Position**

The Research Coordinator will work on a CIHR-funded Mental Health in the Early Years (MHITEY) Implementation Science Grant. Working in partnership with Early Years programming in Alberta, the Yukon, and Nunavut, the objectives of the MHITEY project are twofold: (1) to examine factors associated with successful implementation of Early Years programming in Indigenous communities, to help lay the foundation for early childhood mental health; and (2) to co-create tools to evaluate early childhood program implementation in ways that centralize Indigenous community priorities related to early childhood mental health.

The Research Coordinator will contribute to the project in several ways, including grant preparation, data collection, data management, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and knowledge dissemination. The Research Coordinator will execute project plans, facilitate communication between team members, coordinate day-to-day research project operations, and manage overall milestones and grant deliverables to ensure project completion.

This position will work alongside community partners and other research staff, including graduate students. The Research Coordinator will design and execute research projects (primary and secondary) using various methodologies; develop knowledge mobilization products (e.g., research briefs); and build collaborative relationships and projects amongst academic and community experts to fill research gaps and build specialist knowledge capacity.

The Research Coordinator will also foster the development of collaborative research projects and identify relevant funding opportunities to support partnerships.

**Duties**
- Lead and oversee data collection and analysis activities related to qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring research protocols are followed. This will also include developing research tools, preparing materials and consent forms, analyzing data, and creating summaries.
- Conduct analysis of qualitative and quantitative data using appropriate software and techniques (e.g., SPSS, NVivo). Translate technical and/or analytical results into useful information for community partners.
- Develop and implement methods to document the processes, challenges, and successes of projects, including maintaining a schedule of milestones and deadlines for all grants, reports, articles, etc.
- Present results to partners, funders, and/or at conferences.
- Meet and collaborate with partners to discuss data, and to plan for data collection, analysis and knowledge mobilization. This will include travelling to meetings in the Maskwacis community and may also involve travel to the Yukon Territory a
