Finishing Supervisor

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure construction activities are in compliance with issued permits and approvals
- Create, control, administer and distribute project schedules and all required Site documentation including but not limited to: RFI’s, SI’s, CCN’s, CO’s, reports, records, quantities, measurements, photographs, etc, as required by the project and as directed or requested by site superintendent and/or Armour Heights Developments Inc.
- Receive, review and process shop drawings, catalogue cuts, material samples, manufacturer literature etc, as required and distribute or receive to and from subtrades and/or consultants as necessary inclusive of maintain detailed logs of all such documentation and its status
- Ordering and maintaining logs of site labour hours, equipment rentals, etc.(as applicable)
- Receive, review and understand inspection reports and consultant field review/site visit reports and distribute to subtrades and/or suppliers as applicable to ensure that all deficiencies or non compliance items are addressed and remedied in a timely fashion in order to avoid delaying the project or impacting the work of subtrades, and coordinate the reinspection and/or further review by the applicable inspection agency or consultant to clear deficient or non-compliant items from their reports.
- Review, understand and implement the respective trade contractor and supplier agreements to avoid conflicts, errors, omissions, duplications, etc., on site and advise Armour Heights Developments Inc. accordingly, in a timely manner, of any such perceived or prevalent conditions and / or circumstances.
- Monitor performance and quality of work. Ensure all required inspections and authorizations are completed in accordance with the specifications and local authorities.
- Determine methods of construction, material and equipment requirements
- Assist superintendent to quantify, schedule and expedite the delivery of all supplier items in a timely fashion to avoid delays, interferences, conflicts and rescheduling of activities amongst trade contractors on site.
- Assist superintendent to implement and maintain all required site safety measures as prescribed by Armour Heights Developments Inc.’s Safety Policy and the Ministry Of Labour.
- Take any action, at any time, deemed necessary to prevent any situation which could endanger any worker, person, or jeopardize the construction project in any manner whatsoever.
- Site finishing management, scheduling trades and monitoring project progress.
- Attending weekly site meetings and working in a team manner with other project members.
- Usage of Project software “Autodesk” for document sharing, reviewing, and coordination amongst all trades.
- Take daily photographs of construction progress.
- Knowledge of Ontario Building Code.
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
- Prepare sketches, concepts, details, etc. as requested to convey information and/or address site conditions.
- Prepare areas, quantities, measurements, etc. as requested.
- Maintain record drawings during construction and prepare as built drawings at completion of project.
- Keep work site in a clean and safe working environment.
- Working hands on with tools and helping other trades at completing tasks and projects.(as applicable)
- Following schedules and directives from project managers, designers, and engineers.
- Managing inventories of materials required for completion of suites.
- Reviewing client colour chart selections and organizing information accordingly in office and on site.
- Coordination with, and circulation of, purchaser colour selection details to applicable trades and suppliers as required to implement selections accurately.
- Ensure information on clients colour charts are installed properly in all units.
- Assist with quality control inspections of all units and amenity areas throughout duration of project.
- Ensure suites are prepared for Pre-Delivery inspections with clients.
- Assist with and carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections of completed units with purchasers.
- Post delivery inspections / control of deficiencies repairs with Trades,
- Knowledge of Tarion Warrantee Program.
**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
