**Job Summary**:

- Patrol Officers report to the Enforcement Supervisor and ensures that all dashboard tickets and parking permits are displayed and valid at various parking lots throughout the lower mainland. The working environment may be internal and/or external, which includes exposure to cold, dirt, vehicle exhausts, noise, dust, heat, odours, rain, and snow._

**Location**:
Vancouver Office

**Employment**:
Full-time & Part-time, 7-days a week

**Hours**:
Various Shifts between 8:00 AM & 11:00 PM

**Compensation**:
$18.00 per hour

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- _Valid BC drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract_
- _Previous experience in parking enforcement or background in security are an asset; training will be provided_
- _General knowledge of electronic equipment an asset_
- _High school diploma_

**Mandatory Attributes**:

- _Must be punctual and self disciplined; considered a self
- starter_
- _Ability to work and complete tasks with mínimal supervision as this is an independent, on the road job; must also strive to work in team settings towards a common purpose_
- _Ability to de-escalate situations should they arise;_
- _Must be polite with professional attitude, well mannered & level headed_
- _Excellent problem-solving skills, time-management and training skills_
- _Detailed oriented, quick learner and thinker, efficient and possess good attitude, and work ethic_
- _Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well on their own or as part of a team_

- _Listening skills and the ability to understand and explain procedures in professional manner_
- _Flexible, patient, diplomatic, courteous, tactful and with high level of integrity_

**Job Responsibilities / Duties**:

- _To carefully check the expiration of parking tickets displayed on dashboards and parking permits/hang tags in vehicles; ensuring accuracy in issuing infractions_
- _To report any issues and concerns on all sites, including security concerns_
- _To record machine malfunctions and report to the Supervisor and/or Management Team_
- _Other duties as assigned_
