**Brief Job Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Prep and clean worksite
- Confident operating power tools and equipment.
- Clean out site from debris and discarded materials.
- Work with the team to set up machinery before production.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning and repairs
- Complete projects given by the plant/maintenance manager or leads.
- Carry out manual tasks as required while working indoors and outdoors in all conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects minimum of 40lbs and should be in overall good physical health, lots of walking, standing, crouching, and lifting heavier materials and tools.
- Ability to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed.
- Follow all OHS regulations, food safety, GMP policies and procedures
- Safely work in confined spaces, areas with height and/or at weird angles.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in trades operating power tools, and equipment
- Minimum 1 year maintenance/machinery experience
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Equipment Operator Experience/ Certification (Forklift, Reach, Scissor Lift, skid steer)
- Other Certifications such as WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Confined Space is an asset
- Ability to lift heavy objects minimum of 40lbs and should be in overall good physical health, lots of walking, standing, crouching, and lifting heavier materials and tools.
- Must be reliable, hardworking, responsible, energetic and dependable.
- Daily exposure to typical manufacturing areas will be required and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, high visibility vest and hearing protection where required.

Pay: $23.30 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
