LifeLearn is actively seeking a full-time Scientific Writer to join our dynamic team of creators. The Scientific Writers are a part of the award-winning Industry Solutions Team at LifeLearn. The Industry Solution team has a broad range of skills in design, medical illustration, science writing, video creation, web design, campaign branding and much more. We provide creative solutions to our clients in animal health industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Capacity to absorb new material quickly
- Effectively brainstorm with other members of the Creative team (designers, illustrators) to generate ideas and creative concepts
- Research and compose educational content that is medically and scientifically accurate, relevant to the target audience, and aligned in style and tone with the respective products
- Participate in quality control review for documents written by other writers when requested
- Translate complex scientific information into clear, concise, and accurate language that can be understood by marketing teams, vet techs, and/or the general public.
- Establish a connection with the client beyond one’s project, to support trusted partnerships and help gain repeat business
- Build expertise in LifeLearn’s educational products in order to craft appropriate content, and advise on correct usage/access of the product content by the LifeLearn team and clients

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (advanced degrees preferred) and 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical writingHighly refined written and oral communication skills
- Highly refined written and oral communication skills
- A self-starter with a positive attitude that thrives in a collaborative environment
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
- Demonstrated time and project management skills
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Previous experience/knowledge in Veterinary science is an asset
- Proficient in a Mac or PC platform
- Proficient MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PPT)
- Experience using Adobe Suite is an asset
