Due to an influx of projects, our General Contracting division is currently seeking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. The General Contracting Project Manager (PM) will oversee all phases of the construction project and is responsible for ensuring project quality, schedule, cost control, project controls, safety, and ensuring adherence to specifications and contractual requirements. The PM will lead, manage, coordinate, and be accountable for the successful delivery of large and/or multiple projects through leading, coaching, and developing the project team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Monitor, track and update project budgets and control costs
- Approve project expenditures and invoices
- Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts
- Manage and process client billing invoices
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Ensure timely completion of milestones and final project delivery
- Identify and mitigate potential delays
- Implement and enforce quality control standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets required standards
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly
- Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to clients and senior management
- Conduct project meetings and document meeting minutes
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
- Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived appropriately
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties that may be superficially or generally assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- College/University degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is an asset
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management
- Knowledge of stipulated price contracts, construction management contracts CCDC 5A/5B
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in Ontario
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

**Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., ViewPoint, Fieldwire)

**Working Conditions**:

- Travel to various construction sites across Ontario may be required
- May involve extended hours and weekend work to meet project deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
