**Job Summary**

**Overview**

This position offers manageable hours, steady pace, planned menu and a bright, airy kitchen. Our kitchen uses fresh ingredients to create home-style meals but we also like to pull out all the stops for special occasions. We are looking for an experienced cook interested in some part-time hours to join our team serving lively, independent residents.

**Duties**
- Prepare a variety of ingredients for established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

**Skills**
- Experience in food service within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $25.75 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 - 15 per week
