**Annual Salary: $60,672.30 - $75,833.55**

Reporting to the Manager - Financial Services, the Budget & Special Project Analyst is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Care Group's operating and capital budgets, special project reporting, capital asset reporting and statistical reporting.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma with specialization in accounting
- Must possess or be working toward CPA designation
- Minimum three years of bookkeeping experience in a computerized environment
- Knowledge of / experience with generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience working within a health-care setting preferred

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, SJCG staff, and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be at an intermediate skill level in spreadsheet software and basic skill level in word processing and data entry
- Excellent calculator skills, demonstrating speed and accuracy

**Assets**:

- Experience with Virtuo accounting software, Infomed, Meditech and Crystal Report Writer is an asset

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
