**Introduction**:
**Position Summary**:
Coordination of procurement process (planning issuing and evaluation);
Coordination of contract extensions and production of legal agreement templates as directed by Director of Contract & Relationships;
Review, analyze and trending of risk and feedback events, taking necessary actions with service providers and vendors to mitigate risk to the patient and the organization;
Implementing and monitoring best practice contract management initiatives including quality audits to drive performance improvement;
Provides contract expertise and interpretation to staff, management, and service providers to ensure contract compliance;
Maintenance of HSSO CE Contract Management data base;
Collection, collation, production documentation and analysis of required data for the Contract Management Team i.e. Market Share, Contract Management Indicators, Service Provider Report Cards,

Occurrence tracking and trending, PET Metrics, Organizational Metric etc.;
Monitors product and service utilization trends related to usage;
Collaborates with Senior Manager to identify strategies and solutions to non-routine problems where information and precedence are not available;
Updates the contract data base and market share data in CHRIS to meet contractual obligations;
Monitoring of warranty contracts, investigation of service issues, provider billing and warranty concerns related to Home and Community Care Support Services Central East (HCCSS CE) owned equipment;
Maintaining, accurate contract formulary lists of Medical Equipment, Supplies, Infusion and NPWT

Responsible for managing all aspects of the annual formulary review and recommending changes as appropriate;
Acts as CHRIS lead for Service Providers;
Audit Service Provider Car Kit inventories and requests purchase orders as required;
Conducts presentations and education sessions to staff and service provider partners as required to support contract management practices;
Supports Contract Assistant with efficient movement of clients through the Vacuum-Assisted Therapy Waitlist to prevent organizational risk and extended client wait-times;
Formatting and maintenance of referral rotation lists for HCCSS CE during time that requires Business continuity;
Attendance at education sessions as required.

Other duties as assigned to assist the Contract team in meeting their objectives.

**Minimum Qualifications & Position Requirements**:
Post-secondary education; 1-2 year program

4 to 5 years previous contract and procurement related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation an asset;
Working knowledge of the request for proposal procurement processes;
Working knowledge of Patient Services Procurement Directive, the Broader Public Sector Directive and contract law;
Experience with the development of contract agreement documents an asset;
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively, accurately, work independently with mínimal supervision and take initiative within the job scope;
Demonstrated ability to work well with others;
Demonstrated above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel) with the ability to produce reports with visual additions such as charts, graphs, tables, flow charts and diagrams;
Demonstrates analytical, critical thinking, conflict resolution and decision making capabilities;
Demonstrated knowledge of quality and risk management and performance measurement;
Demonstrate effective relationships with Service Providers and Vendors;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, report writing abilities and effective interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work in and respond to a dynamic and changing environment;
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and professional manner;
Excellent time management and organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize and to balance the workload requirements, meeting competing deadlines with mínimal supervision.
