Splicing Technician

As a Splicing Technician you are a critical member of the Production and Finished Goods team, ensuring superior quality is achieved. Your role builds the requested assemblies with precision and skill to ensure a safe, quality final product is achieved.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Primary responsibility includes the splicing and fabrication of synthetic rope assemblies.
- Review work orders/jobs with manager/supervisor.
- Set-up and fulfill the work order using various techniques, tools and hardware components.
- Review finished work order with manager/supervisor.
- Support the finished goods & production team as needed.
- Flag issues with work order or materials to production manager/supervisor at first sight.
- Follow ISO and Quality Management procedures.

**Qualifications**
- High School and/or Post-Secondary education an asset.
- 2+ years splicing wire or synthetic rope experience an asset.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Computer savvy with strong mathematical skills
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Loves to learn.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bilingual and asset.

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
