Production Controller

Air Spray (1967) Ltd. is an Aerial Forest Fire Suppression company located at the Red Deer Regional Airport, and we are currently seeking a full-time Production Controller to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Production Controller oversees the maintenance department to ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance tasks. This position will also liaise with Operations, Engineering, Safety and Human Resources as needed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain knowledge of production scheduling and ensure timelines are met
- Assist in the assurance that all personnel involved in planning, supervising, or carrying out maintenance activities on behalf of the company, have access to parts and materials; tooling; equipment; pertinent documentation; and an effective facility in which to carry out those maintenance activities;
- Be a part of the planning and execution of AME training programs and make recommendations as needed
- Ensure that established maintenance procedures and processes are maintained and carried out in accordance with the Company MCM/MPM and any applicable documents referenced in it;
- Support the overall development of maintenance personnel;
- Post hours in Win Air daily, ensuring accuracy
- Liaise with hangar staff and management
- Carry out corrective action plans for Safety and Quality findings, as assigned by the PRM
- Liaise with and track progress work of contracted engineers
- Deal with unscheduled snags as they arise (tasks, parts, knowledge)
- Coordinate and review work completed in side Shops
- Review production related documentation, revisions and additions
- Complete logistics functions in Win Air
- Track and coordinate general hangar maintenance, fleet vehicles and ground equipment
- Be thoroughly familiar with and put to use safety procedures and safe work practices
- Work efficiently alone and as a team

- Utilize the Company reporting system to report any hazard, incident or accident
- Maintain effective working relationship with other personnel
- Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as Supervisor, Chief Engineer or Maintenance Controller
- Holds a valid AME license
- Competent with Microsoft software, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- Competent with Win Air software

**Working conditions**
- May be required to work Tanker Contracts during summer
