We are seeking an individual with a purpose and passion to enhance the lives of

residents living in our state-of-the-art Retirement Community.

We are in search of an individual who is in search of meaningful work that makes a

difference in residents lives every day. We are hiring for a Housekeeper to help maintain

the cleanliness of our home. As a housekeeper you would be responsible for performing

cleaning duties and routines that will provide a pleasant and safe environment for

residents, visitors and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and

sanitation methods and procedures
- Clean resident suites and common areas, including, but not limited to: serveries,

washrooms, living areas, walls, ceilings, lights, vents and windows
- Operate floor care machines
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, utilizing infection control

principles and policies
- Ensure supplies are adequate in housekeeping and equipment is in proper

working order before commencing daily routines
- Pick up and transport garbage to designated areas
- Launder residents’ personal linens, towels and sheets
- Clean and restock assigned housekeeping cart

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Demonstrate an ability to understand, empathize and relate well with residents
- Possess the ability to follow instructions and complete designated tasks
- Attention to detail
- Secondary School Graduate or approved equivalent

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
