- Monitor and respond to security incidents and network issues to ensure system integrity and uptime.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and support patch management to reduce risk.
- Collaborate with IT teams on updates and upgrades to maintain a secure, stable environment.
- Support security policy development, user training, disaster recovery, and incident response efforts.
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT security and networking within enterprise environments.
- CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on experience (CCNP a strong asset).
- Proven expertise in IP network design and maintenance (VLANs, subnetting, VPNs, wireless design, remote connectivity, access control).
- Strong background in Cisco technologies, including load balancing and firewall configuration.
- Experience with NAC 802.1X integration, Zero Trust implementation and administration.
- Proficiency in advanced network troubleshooting and structured change management processes.
- Hands-on experience with BGP routing and cloud service integration (e.g., AWS Direct Connect).
- Experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure, including deployment, tuning, and monitoring.
- Proficiency with Linux systems (TCP/IP stack, shell scripting, NFS, QNAP).
- Experience managing and configuring DC/Azure Active Directory and VMware ESXi infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, SNMP/Syslog monitoring tools, and network configuration management solutions for version control and automation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a strong focus on user satisfaction.
- Proactive learner with the ability to escalate appropriately and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong multitasking and project prioritization abilities; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and participate in the IT on-call rotation.
**Bonus Skills**:
- CCNP or other advanced networking certifications.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
