Salmon Arm, Canada Wood Creek Construction LTD Full time

**Duties Include**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and commercial buildings
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
- Prepare cost estimates

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Skill / Experience / Qualifications**
- Leadership skills,
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experienced with hand and powertools
- Able to track and document time and materials costs

Pay: $19.00-$30.25 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
