**_Job summary:_**
- The Facility Manager will ensure that the strategic and operational vision for the Facility Maintenance Project is being carried out to the highest standards. He will be responsible for the overall performance of the project and will have authority to represent EQUANS in all respect of his assigned contract._
- The Facility Manager shall have at least 10 years of experience in managing maintenance service operations. The Facility Manager shall have experience in managing Contracts of similar size and scope as anticipated in the range of $1M to $2M, including managing supervisory staff and personnel, subcontractors, employment issues, inventories, and utilizing computerized maintenance management software._
- The Facility Manager shall be fully responsible for overseeing all repair and maintenance actions that occur 24/7/365 and shall include but not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities._
**_ Responsabilities:_**
**_ Management _**
- _Serve as the on-site manager representing EQUANS Services and shall supervise and train his employees to ensure compliance with all provisions of the project. _
- _Responsible for all day-to-day operations and maintenance, performance, supervision, and control of series provided under the project contract and that these services are performed in an effective and efficient manner. _
- _Produce results as per plans and financial targets through the effective management of employees and resources. _
- _Must be fully familiar with the requirements of the project contract, the schedules and ensure the proper skilled staffing is provided and oversee management of various subcontractors._
- _Meet with the client Designee and EQUANS’s corporate management on matters relating to the services performed with a view toward obtaining effective coordination of all operations. Issue reports and summaries to the client as required. _
- _Develop, implement and communicate improved processes, policies and procedures on a continuous basis, always seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction. _
- _Oversee an effective work safety program and manage health & safety issues. _
- _Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with our HR Program to assist in the realization of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills. _
- _Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. _
- _Perform any additional duties on an as required basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual limitations or as required by the Authority._
**_ Operational _**
- _Establish performance standards for each phase of work. Shall be responsible for the adherence to standard practices and quality specifications for all work performed. _
- _Establish a program for the acquisition, storage and accountability of all operating materials, tools, and equipment. _
- _Develop planned preventative maintenance programs for the site. _
- _Co-ordinate with the Purchasing Manager on requirements for maintenance materials and equipment. _
- _Carry out random quality control checks. _
- _Maximize communication and synergies within the team. _
- _Ensure that all equipment and materials are of the required standard and that procedures are in place to prevent fraud and safety issues. _
- _Supervise the observance of all guidelines, instructions and conditions applicable to the Project as laid down by local, State and Federal Laws._
**_Requirements: _**
- _Ten (10) years’ experience in a Facilities Maintenance Company (any relevant degree combined with experience will be evaluated); _
- _Engineering Degree (Electrical / Mechanical) - Desirable; _
- _Building Services Diploma - Desirable; _
- _Facilities Management qualification or Experience; _
- _Trouble shooting and problem solving experience in a medium to large organization; _
- _Proven track record in managing a maintenance department in Industrial environments;_
- _Exposure to a multicultural environment; _
- _Valid driver's license to travel between the two sites;_
- _Able to qualify at a competency exam;_
- _Able to pass a background check;_
- _Computer Literate. Able to utilize with ease Microsoft Offic
