**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and execute key initiatives that support Gateway's strategy.
- Guide leaders and employees regarding company policies, values, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and on time.
- Accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions and implement action plans.
- Ensure activities are compliant with all provincial and federal employment laws.
- Assists leadership in performance management and developing effective succession plans.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve organizational health and culture.
**What You Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is required.
- A minimum of four years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, provincial and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
- A confident communicator with solid written and verbal skills.
- Experience with core aspects of Human Resource management (staffing, employee relations, labour relations, performance management, leadership development and training).
- Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred.
- Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise.
- Strong expertise in developing solutions based on data analytics.
