Do you love helping people and espacially **children with special needs**?
**L'Etoile de Pacho is a support network of parents with disabled children,** who have decided to put their knowledge and experience together to help other parents in similar situations. We offer personalized support services to help parents by sharing our experiences, resources and journey.
We are looking for a compassionate and responsible caregiver to provide **home care in Montréal (Québec), Ville Emard area, near monk station, for a 3 year old boy with special needs.**
**Schedule**:
- 8 hours / week
- Mondays and Tuesdays from 1pm to 5pm
Posssibly more hours during weekdays when the child can't attend daycare (not compulsory)
**Tasks description**:
- Assist the child with daily living activities
- Maintain a healthy, secure and comfortable environment;
- Change diapers
- Supervise the meals (gastrostomy)
- Play with him
- Help with his nap
- Help him with his physio exercises
**Qualifications**:
- 1 to 6 months of experience in personal care or other related fields OR a high motivation
- A high degree of empathy and patience.
- Excellent opportunity for students in the following fields: Special care counselling, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, early childhood education._ therapy Physiotherapy.
