As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen for the children and staff. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team and has a love for food preparation in a dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks for children and staff, following dietary requirements and safety standards.
- Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Organize and maintain food storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation of food items.
- Help with food delivery and serving during mealtimes.
- Assist in inventory management and report any food or supply shortages.
- Ensure the kitchen area kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Support other team members with kitchen-related tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic food handling and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Valid Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid PCC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
