Content Creator

Directed by the social media team, the Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator creates content that aligns with Rainbow’s core values while showing creativity, and using the appropriate content for the appropriate platform in hopes of connecting the community to Rainbow through social media. This content supports recruitment, sales and shares our culture.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Creating fun and engaging content across Rainbow’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and more;
- Keeping content organized in social media management tool
- Track and report analytics of social media platforms
- Assisting with copywriting, photography, videography, (as applicable to the skills you already possess or may acquire through training) for content
- Liaising with contracted videographers, photographers, and outside agents as needed;
- Organizing and updating photo and video library
- Oversee our customer/audience feedback
- Collaborate with staff to keep up with what is new and exciting at Rainbow

**Your Experience & Skills**:

- Post-secondary student or recent graduate with a focus on marketing or related fields
- Strong writing abilities
- Captivating storytelling that engages readers
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms, management, and strategy
- Experience with design and social media apps
- Creative thinker with a can do attitude
- Ability to learn new skills and technology
- Detail oriented

**About Rainbow Greenhouses**
We are a large, expanding greenhouse grower of indoor floral and outdoor gardening plant material to major retailers and wholesalers across Western Canada and Northwestern US. Established in 1985, we were once a small, family-run greenhouse business. Rainbow now operates 4 facilities in two provinces and is one of the largest Greenhouse operations in all of Canada employing over 600 people. We remain a family-owned company led by long-established values. Our staffing requirements now span a wide range of administrative, sales, and management roles from production line work and order assembly to greenhouse growers, facilities maintenance specialists, and truck mechanics, to logistics roles.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
