Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, BC is hiring a Cook 1 to join our year-round culinary team.

We’re looking for someone with solid kitchen experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and shows up with purpose. - Has 2 to 3 years of professional kitchen experience
- Works well under pressure and stays focused during service
- Has flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Is passionate about cooking and being part of a kitchen team
- Is ambitious, goal-oriented, and committed to learning
- Brings a strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude

**In this role, you will**:

- Prepare and plate dishes efficiently and consistently, following established standards
- Support smooth kitchen operations and communicate effectively with the team
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in your work area
- Store, label, and rotate food properly to minimize waste
- Assist with inventory and kitchen organization
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards
- Contribute to a respectful and collaborative work environment
