**Duties and Responsibilities**

**_Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Service Agent/Night Audit will: _**
- Prepare the daily night audit proceedings and system back-ups
- Audit, balance and report on all cash and credit operations to include but not limited to checks, over/short figures, deposits, counts, house charges, postings, etc. and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely information.
- Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room charges, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Ensure any discrepancies are reported and brought to the attention of Manager.
- Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
- Perform the duties of Guest Service Agent including check in/check out.
- Have thorough knowledge of emergency and front office procedures.
- Ensure the safety and well being of guests and staff during the overnight period.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**_Desirable: _**
- High school diploma preferred. Hotel Experience required.
- Prior hospitality & Opera system knowledge preferred
- Applicants with additional language skills preferred.
- Must be available for weekdays and weekends.

**Job Requirements**
- 1-2 years Customer Service experience, preferably in a Hotel Front Desk position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Computer literate in Word and Excel.
- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a busy and demanding environment.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve, initiate action, and complete projects in a timely manner with mínimal supervision.
- Must be friendly, energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a professional appearance.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.25 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
