We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented **Hotel Operations Manager** to join our team and help shape the future of our operations as we grow.

Role Overview

This is a unique hybrid role that blends strategic planning with hands-on execution. You'll help build and manage internal systems while also taking responsibility for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep. We’re seeking someone who’s as comfortable creating checklists and streamlining procedures as they are making a bed to perfection.

**Responsibilities**:
**Operations (50%)**
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day hotel functions
- Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes and reservation systems
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors for supplies (linens, cleaning products, etc.)
- Maintain property standards and manage minor maintenance issues or liaise with trades
- Help manage schedules and any part-time or seasonal staff
- Create systems for reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Support guest communications and ensure a warm, memorable guest experience

**Housekeeping (50%)**
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard (including bathrooms, linens, surfaces, and amenities)
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure timely room turnover aligned with guest check-in/check-out times
- Report and follow up on any damages or maintenance needs
- Keep housekeeping supplies and equipment organized and well-stocked

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations, ideally in a boutique or small hotel setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Friendly, professional communication style—guest-facing experience is a plus
- Physically comfortable performing cleaning and light maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) is a plus
- Soft skills like patience, problem-solving, and adaptability are a strong asset

Nice to Have
- Educational background in hotel or hospitality management
- Experience with booking platforms like Mews
- Basic handyman or property maintenance knowledge

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Tips

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
