**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As Capital Project Controls Administrator, you will be an integral member of the Sarnia based Project Management Team. You will be providing direct support across a portfolio of sustaining capital projects during the development, execution, and closure phases. Reporting directly to the Regional Project Controls Specialist, you will be working collaboratively with other team members to deliver projects on time and on budget. General areas of focus will include, but are not limited to: cost management, financial forecasting, status reporting, and document control.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Maintenance of structured and contract-based purchase orders
- Vendor communications
- Entry of payment approvals in SAP
- Maintenance of work orders in SAP
- Assisting with monthly financial forecasts
- Assisting with weekly and monthly project reporting
- Tracking and analysis of work progress
- Tracking and analysis of project costs (e.g. incurred to date, forecast at completion, etc.)
- Assisting with project related financial transactions (accruals, transfers)
- Assisting with internal funding requests (AFEs and Supplementals)
- Assisting with document control and data archiving
- General administrative support requests
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following must-have qualifications and experience:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Construction Management, or other related discipline
- Minimum two (2) years of project controls or project management related work experience
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in an industrial/commercial construction environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated proficiency in an SAP environment (PS/PM Modules)
- Applicants must have a valid Canadian driver’s license and be willing to travel on an occasional basis to support project assignments
**Nice to Haves**
The following qualifications and/or experience are desirable, but not essential:
- PMI Certification and/or training
- AACE Certification and/or training
- Previous utility/power industry experience
