**Summary**

We are seeking an Adult Education Teacher to join our team at the Halifax Community Learning Network. In this role, you will facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences for adult learners, helping them achieve their educational goals and improve their skills in a supportive environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and deliver educational programs tailored to the needs of adult learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Collaborate with community partners to enhance program offerings and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in teaching or facilitating adult education programs is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the varied needs of adult learners.
- A passion for lifelong learning and community engagement.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $32.57 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
