**About the Position**:
This position reports to the production supervisor. Baker’s job in PBF Pita Bread Factory Ltd is classified as a NOC 63202 - Bakers

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare dough for bread according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Bake mixed doughs.
- Set up and adjust machines preparatory to operation.
- Gather ingredients from the warehouse in the necessary quantities according to the production schedule.
- Scale ingredients according to the recipes and maintain records regarding lot numbers.
- Monitor oven temperatures and speeds to ensure they meet the standard and adjust as required.
- Follow production schedule accurately, managing time to finish production on time.
- Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date, and product type.
- Check products for defects and compliance with company standards and adjust machines as necessary.
- Ensure quality is maintained, and safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Clean equipment at the end of the shift.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of secondary school.
- Three years of commercial baking experience is considered an asset.
- Able to speak, read and understand English.
- Good math skills.
- Flexible schedule and able to work weekends.
- Able to work in a dusty environment.
- Able to perform lifting of 20 kg.
