**Who we are**

The South Island Division of Family Practice (SIDFP) is a non-profit society supporting over 350 Family Physician members who work in clinics on Salt Spring Island and the Saanich Peninsula and Western Communities of the southern part of Vancouver Island. Our team, led by an Executive Director and Board of Directors, provides strategic leadership that influences and advocates for culture and system change while supporting our physician members. Our Division is one of 35 Divisions of Family Practices in BC, funded through the Family Physician Services Committee, a provincial collaborative of Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health.

**Opportunity**

Position: Contractor, Family Physician Recruitment Program

Hours: Contracted hours up to 30 hours over 5 days per week

Location: Optional remote/hybrid position with an office located in Saanich, BC

**Responsibilities**

**Required Qualifications**
- University degree or an acceptable combination of recent education and experience working in healthcare, non-profit, or membership-based organizations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Divisions of Family Practices, UBC Residency program, and PRA-BC program will be given preference.
- Knowledge of the diverse communities the South Island covers is ideal. For a full list of communities across our region, please visit our website.
- Background or training in Cultural Sensitivity Training or DEI.

- **Advanced computer proficiency**: Microsoft Office, Zoom, Doodle, Canva, and online survey tools as required.
- **Communication, oral and written**: conveying information concisely and in a professional manner when preparing campaigns/advertisements, responding to inquiries, and writing reports.
- **Problem-solving and analytical skills**: quickly identifying issues, risks, and solutions for prompt response to ensure appropriate follow-up.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:
