**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Responsible for performing various administrative HR functions as well as providing support to the HR team.
**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain accurate employee files (hard and digital copies) and accurately administer employee data in systems, e.g., HRIS, Timekeeping, and Benefit portal
- Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
- Support recruitment in absence of the Talent & Culture Administrators
- New hire preparation e.g., packages, employee files and paperwork
- Work closely with HR team to assist with projects
- Respond to employee inquiries
- Administrative duties (e.g., employment verifications, anniversary step progression letters, filing, data entry, open/sort incoming mail, inventory of supplies, maintenance of HR office)
- Participate in the execution of annual programs and communications
- Administer employee award programs
- Process invoices for HR department
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Possess sensitivity and tact in dealing with employees and management
- Perform other duties as required

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED**
- Minimum Post-secondary Degree in Human Resources or related field, required
- Human Resources designation, preferred
- Two (2) years human resources experience, required
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec
- Knowledge of current federal labour and employment law, Employment Equity, Canadian Human Rights Code, Canada Labour Code Part II
- Experience with ATS, HRIS and Timekeeping systems, preferred
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including excellent attention to detail and ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability manage competing and changing priorities
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint and Outlook)
- Professional verbal, reading and written communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
