Dufresne Furniture & Appliances is currently seeking a** Warehouse & Transportation Supervisor**for our**Kenora**store located at** 1077 Railway St.**

As a Supervisor, Warehouse & Transportation you will responsible for leading and managing the warehouse and delivery teams by implementing departmental objectives that meet the strategic, competitive, and internal needs of the company, while ensuring an exceptional customer service.

**As the Warehouse & Transportation Supervisor you will**:

- Maintain effective staff levels by recruiting, selecting, training, and retaining employees.
- Maintain productivity through coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
- Optimize the flow of product.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the facilities & equipment to maintain warehouse. productivity, safety, and efficiency.
- Communicate and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly delivery budget.
- Ensure clear communication between warehouse and other departments.
- Execute all aspects of successful inventory management.
- Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules.
- Daily fleet management.
- Enforce Warehouse/Transportation safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.
- High School diploma, post-secondary education is preferred.
- Previous management experience in a distribution-oriented environment.
- Effective decision making, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build high performing work teams.
- Direct and motivate subordinates in a dynamic work environment.
- Customer focused.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.
- Ability to work flexible work schedules to meet the requirements of the operation.
- On call 24/7 for emergencies.
- Drivers License required.
- Criminal Record Check is required.
